Though I was once victimized, I am NOT a victim. Though I’ve been hurt, I am healed.

I cry out to the Lord and He heals me. –Psalm 30:2

He heals my broken heart and binds up my wounds. –Psalm 147:3

The Lord has declared that He will restore me to health and heal my wounds. –Jeremiah 30:17

Though I have been afraid, I have NO fear.

God has not given me a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power! –2 Timothy 1:7

God Himself has said, He will not in any way fail me nor give me up nor leave me without support… –Hebrews 13:5-6

Though others have trampled me, I stand back up in forgiveness.

If I forgive people their trespasses, my heavenly Father will also forgive me. –Matthew 6:14

And whenever I stand praying, if I have anything against anyone, I forgive him and let it drop. –Mark 11:25

He suffered, was beaten, bled, hung on a cross to die, and paid the price in order for my sins to be forgiven.  How then can I hold anything against anyone who has sinned against me?  I am a sinner too, I have no place to judge.

I am a new woman in Christ.  I have been called to service, I have been given gifts of the Holy Spirit, and it is my eternal duty out of thankfulness to use those gifts for His glory.

My first step is to cultivate a true “listening” spirit.

Today I will hear His voice . . . and harden NOT my heart. –Psalm 95:7-8

Because I listen to and obey God’s voice, He will be my God and I will be one of His people. –Jeremiah 7:23

I am one of God’s sheep, and His sheep hear His voice. –John 10:27

Second, ACT, DO, STEP OUT!

I do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive myself. I do what is says.  Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.  But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it- he will be blessed in what he does. –James 1:22-25

How? That’s the easy part. I’ve been anointed, He will use me.

Like Jesus’ disciples, I am called to drive out many unclean spirits and anoint with oil many who are sick and cure them. –Mark 6:13

It is God Who confirms and makes me steadfast and establishes me in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed me [with the gifts of the Holy Spirit]. –2 Corinthians 1:21

But as for me, the anointing I received from Him remains in me, and I do not need anyone to teach me.  But as His anointing teaches me about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit, just as it has taught me, I will remain in Him. –1 John 2:27

What will He use me for?

“In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”  -Mark 16:17-18

“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”  -Luke 10:19

…the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. –James 4:7

Today this is my prayer.  Lord, speak to me, lay on my heart what you would like me to do.  I am listening.  Open my spiritual eyes and ears to only You.  Make me deaf and blind to the enemy.  Come close, and whisper to me the path you would have me take.  In Jesus Name, Amen.
